Manhattan Restorations offers internships to the local five college area. This includes, but is not limited to, the following area colleges.

 Internships are offered with flexible schedules to accommodate participant’s programs. 
 

Agenda outline includes:

- The do’s and don’ts of fine antiques
- Correct conservation and restoration
- History of cabinet makers &
    their influence on furniture design
- Basic use of chisels…and keeping them sharp!
- Distinguishing types of wood
- Veneer substructure and solid wood construction
- Minor and Major repairs
- Finishing with shellac, rubout techniques and polish
